Costa degli Etruschi San Vincenzo

Our agriturism is in the centre of a vast area full of Medieval villages, archaeological sites and charming Etruscan necropolis to visit.
At about 8 Km you can admire the beautiful Archaeological Park of Baratti, with its necropolis and the Etruscan city of Populonia, known since the ancient time for its intense metal extracting activity connected to iron.
At about 5 Km there is the Archaeological Mineral Park of San Silvestro, which covers an area of 450 Km.You can visit the related museum, the minerary galleries and the medieval miners and melters' village, founded about 1000 years ago, and interesting historical, archaeological, geologic and naturalistic paths. The ruins of the medieval stronghold of San Silvestro are right in the
middle of the park.
Only a few Km away from us, you can visit some beautiful old villages like Campiglia Marittima, Suvereto, Castagneto Carducci, Bolgheri, with its lovely long cypress-lined road, Piombino and its Piazzia Bovio that stretches out into the sea.
And then Volterra and San Gimignano...
